　　平时，我看妈妈做饭都很简单的'样子，也想试一试，就对妈妈说：“今天让我来做饭吧！”妈妈听了笑着同意了。

　　Usually, I see my mother's cooking is very simple. I want to have a try. I say to my mother, "let me cook today!" Mom smiled and agreed.

　　以前妈妈做饭时我喜欢在一边看着，想动手可惜妈妈不让，今天终于可以自己做了。我先舀了三勺米，防水淘米，可是往外倒水的时候出了点小问题，一不小心米也倒出去了点儿，我吐了吐舌头，心里说还好妈妈没看见。米倒进锅里了，可是加水，妈妈说过干饭放两倍水，我一边加水，一边数着数，一边想着做饭还得会乘法呀，结果数乱了，干脆多加点水，做稀了就当稀饭吧。

　　I used to watch my mother cooking while I wanted to do it. Unfortunately, my mother didn't let me do it. Today, I can do it by myself. I scooped out three spoons of rice first, which was waterproof, but there was a little problem when I poured out the water. I accidentally poured out some rice. I spat out my tongue, saying that my mother didn't see it. The rice is poured into the pot, but the water is added. My mother said twice as much water for dry rice. As I added water, I counted while thinking that I had to be able to multiply when I was cooking. As a result, the number was disordered, so I just added more water and made thin rice as porridge.

　　摁下按钮，我就开始提心吊胆的等着。终于饭熟了，我吃着自己做的饭，真开心呀。

　　Press the button, and I'll start waiting in fear. Finally, the meal is cooked. I'm so happy to have my own meal.

　　我会做饭了，你呢？

　　I can cook. How about you?
