　　高中英语强调句型知识

　　1、强调句的基本句型是“It is/was＋被强调的部分＋

　　that/who＋其他部分”。被强调的部分可以是主语、宾语和状语等。

　　John's success has nothing to do with good luck. It is years of hard work that has made him what he is today.(摘自2010湖南高考)

　　约翰的成功与运气无关，是多年的努力让他取得了今天的地位。

　　It is only children who make such stupid mistakes.

　　只有孩子才会犯这样愚蠢的'错误。

　　2、强调句型的一般疑问句只需将is/was提前，特殊疑问句的结构是“疑问词＋is/was＋it＋that从句”。

　　Is it Professor Wang who teaches you English?

　　教你们英语的是王教授吗？

　　What is it that you want me to do?

　　你要我干什么？

　　3、如果原句中含有“not ...until”，在强调时间状语时，将主句中的否定词not连同状语一起提前。

　　It was not until she took off her dark glasses that I realized she was a famous film star.

　　直到她摘下墨镜，我才认出她是一位著名的电影明星。

　　5、高考常考类型的强调句

　　基本结构：

　　It is (was)+被强调部分+ that (who)+句子其他部分。此结构强调的成分仅限于主语、宾语和状语。

　　例如：

　　It is not only blind men who make such stupid mistakes.

　　It was the goat’s eyes that he had seen in the darkness.

　　It is from the sun that we get light and heat.

　　It was not until I had read your letter that I understood the true state of affairs.

　　下面给出一个句子，根据强调的内容不同，做出的不同形式的强调句：

　　原句：My father did the experiment in the lab yesterday evening.

　　强调主语： It was my father who did the experiment in the lab yesterday evening.

　　强调宾语： It was the experiment that my father did in the lab yesterday evening.

　　强调时间： It was yesterday evening that my father did the experiment in the lab. (注意不用when)

　　强调地点： It was in the lab that my father did the experiment yesterday evening.
