　　今天我和妈妈上街买菜，无意中看到街上有一个摊子卖小动物的摊子。我一看，有八哥鸟、画媚、鹦鹉、鸽子、小松鼠、乌龟等各种动物。我站在那边走不动了。我真想把所有的都带回家养。但妈妈说没有那么多钱买。只能让我选一种。我就选一只了小仓鼠。

　　这只小仓鼠比拳头还小，它的毛是黑白相间的，跑步时像一个小老鼠呢。我把小仓鼠带回家，想给他找个窝，一时找不到合适的窝，就放在一个浅的纸盒里，我还不知道拿什么来喂它呢。于是就找来了一节玉米棒，放在盒子里面去，小仓鼠在玉米棒上爬来爬去，嘴巴终于啃玉米了，我见它吃玉米了，我高兴的拍起手来：“小仓鼠终于吃东西了！。”我怕它口渴，就那一个瓶盖装点水，可它连碰都不碰，他不喝水我真怕它口渴呀！怎么办呢？我想到冰箱里的牛奶，就倒出一点在瓶盖里，开始它看都不看，我就走开了。我过了一会再来看它罢牛奶舔完了。原来小仓鼠也这么他挑食呀，我还得把牛奶分给他一半呢！不过只要它愿意，我就是不喝也全让它喝。这下我不用担心它的吃喝了。

　　This little hamster is smaller than a fist. Its hair is black and white. It looks like a little mouse when running. I took the hamster home to find a nest for him. I couldn't find a suitable nest for a while, so I put it in a shallow cardboard box. I don't know what to feed it. So I found a corn cob and put it in the box.
