在我的世界里，有一根救命稻草——英语。为什么说英语是救命稻草呢？听了你一定惊讶。
我们以前的学校确切的说，根本没有教英语，因为教了上学期，下学期就没有指望了。可以说是‘上气不接下气’呀！因此我把英语当成最重要的一门学科。
我之后在芦外读书，看见芦外这么大，心想：这里的老师肯定深藏不露，定有奇特的教学方法，否则，不可能搞这么大，大约都 1 公顷了。在这里肯定很难有机会讲小话了。我心里虽然无可奈何，但又无处撒野。我该怎样才能逃过这如来神掌，我该给老师一个下马威，还是老师会先给我一个下马威呢？先下手为强，后下手为弱。这句俗语我是知道的。于是，我选择了先给老师一个下马威。谁知，上第一节课竟是英语课，我最喜欢的一门功课，使我给老师下马威的念头已烟消云散了。我全神贯注地听着老师讲的每个单词，每句话的意思我都详细地做好了笔记。
哎呀，咋整的呀？竟然没有给老师下马威！我又记起来了，我拿以前的学校与现在的`学校进行了比较，我们家那边既然没有英语，在这里不好好珍惜的话，以后就没有机会了。于是，我把英语当成了我在悬崖边上抓着的稻草，刚好人们丢稻草时，有些没有掉下去，反而成了一株救命的稻草。因此，我上英语课时总是全神贯注的，不敢有丝豪的马虎，也正是这种对英语的渴望与热情，才促使了我的英语成绩经常得A+的原因。
