Advertisements appear everywhere in modern society. When you walk along the streets, you can see large boards with pretty girls smiling at you. You read newspapers, and see half of the pages covered with ads. You turn on TV, and you see commercial advertisements again. Whether you like it or not, advertisements fill your life.
In order to attract more customers, advertisements will sometimes go to extremes. Advertisements use every possible means in producing their announcements. For example, to advertise a certain food, advertisers will employ an actor to sit at a table and eat up their seemingly delicious food product while they film him.
Although advertisements enable you to make decisions quickly, sometimes they can cause lots of trouble. There are always many of them and they make you forget what you are sitting there for.
The table above revealed an overall picture of employment satisfaction. Based upon the data of the table, most people under 40 are unclear or dissatisfied with their job, and 64% of those between 40 to 50, are not satisfied and no one feel satisfied at all. For people over 50, the degree of satisfaction largely exceeds the other groups, amounting to 40%.
Such difference may be rooted in the following reasons. First, middle-aged people face more pressure to support the family, both the children and the senior, so that they neglect to enjoy in work. Second, the senior citizens has developed a lot in personality, so they are more prone to see the optimistic aspects of the work. Last, the conclusion that the current society patterns pose more challenges to the middle aged group under 50.
Hold to Your Dreams
Everyone has his dreams, but not all these dreams can e true. People give up their dreams for this or that reason. Those whose dreams bee true have at least one thing in mon, that is, they always hold fast to their dreams.
Marie Curie, a famous scientist, has set a good example. In 1898, Marie found a new element in the pitchblende. In order to prove her discovery, she must get it and show it to the world. Then to get the new element became her dream and goal of her life. After four years'' hard work and refinement of tons of pitchblende, Marie and her hus-band at last saw the dim blue light of the new element -- radium. Her dream had e true. There are many other examples. Just around us, for instance, the athletes who gain the gold medals, the artists who are popular with the public, and even the students who enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation, are all dream-holders.
Hold fast to your dreams, no matter how big or small they are. The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, even some sacrifices are needed, but hold on to the end, you ,sill find there is no greater happiness than making your dream e true.

My Dream Home in the Dream Neighbourhood 我梦想中的梦中之家
My dream home is at the foot of a hill. It has two floors. There is a beautiful garden in front of my house. The garden is full of different kinds of flowers. I can always smell these nice flowers and water them. There are many rooms in my house. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a dining room, a living room and a bathroom. On the first floor, there are six bedrooms. There is also a big balcony on the first floor. I can look out at the hill and trees on the balcony. My dream home is in a very great neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is very big and the neighbours are kind to each other. There are many volunteers in my neighbourhood. Some of them are doctors, so they can take good care of the sick people. If there is something wrong with your things , the engineers here can help you fix them. When you have any problem with your study, the college students will help you. They often help the old clean their houses and do some shopping.
Decisions after Graduation
Recently, there has been a growing concern among the public over the topic of the choice after graduation. As is described in the picture, a group of graduation is facing various roads such as: searching for jobs, pursuing further study, going abroad and entrepreneurship. The picture intends to convey to us this message: As adults, college students have to make decisions about their future life.
After graduation, college students have to make decisions about their future life. For those who are eager to become economically independent and to put into practice what they have learned in college, taking a job or doing poineeringwork will be both satisfying and rewarding. Getting established as a bread-winner after graduation is their main desire. By contrast, those who want to take advantage of the favorable conditions in college, however, will try to enroll in graduate programs inside or outside. For them, a Master's degree or even a Doctoral degree represents a much more ambitious goal than a bachelor's degree. In the same way, their lifetime success and interest lies more in academic achievements than in making money.
As far as I am concerned, it is sensible that we should take a rational attitude towards the decisive choice. For the part of my own, getting a higher degree abroad has long been my dream. This is based on my belief that I should do more research and learn more while I am still young.
what is beautiful, people like to wear beautifulclothes,if we print some colorful pads of some wordson them.the clothes will become more attractive.Butthe meaning of the words on them must be lovelytoo. I am sorry to say that some people pay noattention on this.
Now please look at the picture.thegirl in the new jacket looks pretty indeed.but theEnglish words on the jacket are quite different.Doyou think a snake is beautiful?Do people take a pride been a personal. of course not. and onother two jackets are writing kiss me and foolish.Do you think the girl is foolish. If the girl knowthe meaning of words on it.she probably will not buy suchjacket. So I think everyone shouldknow what is beautiful and what is not.
Do you see the glass as half-full rather than hall empty? The two different answers to the question represent two different attitudes towards life — optimistic attitude and pessimistic attitude.
Optimism always leads to happiness, health and success while pessimism, by contrast, results in hopelessness, sickness and failure. That's because optimists and pessimists deal with the same challenges and disappointments in very different ways. When things go wong the pessimist tends to blame himself, while the optimist looks for loop holes. The optimist feels in control of his oval life. If things are going badly, he acts quickly, looking for solutions, forming a new plan of action, and seeking for advice. On the contrary, the pessimist yields to the arrangement of fate and moves slowly. He doesn't seek advice, since he assumes nothing can be done.
Most people are a mix of optimism and pessimism. Optimism is important in all aspects of our lives. If you can change your mind from pessimism to optimism, you can change your life.
Ways of making friends Everyone needs friends, so how to make true friends is very important to anybody. First of all, you must be friendly to others. Smile at others and you always sure to get a smile in return. You should think more of others than of yourself and try your best to make a stranger fell at home. Think as you are in his position. Try to remember others' names, which will make them fell that they have made an impression on you. If you don't agree with others, don't argue but discuss with them. Finally, don't believe those who leave their friends when they are in trouble because “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
With the development of economics as well as the improving life standard, more and more people possess private cars.
As each coin has two sides, there are also disadvantages in such a trend. First of all, the air and noise pollution is undoubtedly going from bad to worse. The poisonous gas the private cars send out is not only of great harm to the environment around us, but to our human bodies as well, especially to the respiratory systems. Private cars, of their owners most are new drivers, meanwhile, are consequently easy to result in traffic jams or even accidents. You can imagine how worrying the situation can be when you are in a hurry!
Such being the case, some iMMediate measures must be taken to prevent it in my opinion. For instance, we should pay more attention to the environmental protection to refresh the air, if possible, to reduce the noise level. It is expected that more advanced technology can make it a reality to replace the poisonous gas with one which both saves energy and causes no harm, thus making our daily life more satisfying!
There is a beautiful school in the Shanghai West suburbs----Qingpu senior high middle school. She covers an area of simple more than 150 mu. And it is one of the lodge senior middle schools in Shanghai. That is my school, my family.
Judging by her system, it is not hard for us to know, every student who studies in the school should live at school. Really so, I live at school all the day.
Our school is a modern senior middle school .In each classroom there is a computer which controls a projector. It is the paperless teaching that the teacher attends class. Students pe into it completely.
The environment in the school is also the most. There is a river in the school side. And water in river is limpid, in which there is several small fish and some shrimps etc.
The gym installations of our school are complete. She not only has a tartan track, a basketball court and a football field, but also has a tennis field ,a shuttlecock field ,a table tennis house and gymnasium etc . Everything needed is there.
This is my school, my family.
I love my school, and I love my family!
