1．词汇学习的重要性。英语能力培养程序：词汇-语法-听-说-读-写。英语高分训练程序：词汇-读-写。这两套程序是语言学和认知学研究的成果，次序千万不能颠倒。词汇是基础，是素材，是细胞，不要指望词汇基本功不扎实的人能够考出高分；阅读是中国人学习外语的最佳途径，也是目前各类外语考试的最主要题型；写作是掌握外语，检验自己水平的最主要方式。有兴趣的人可以参考这方面的专著。

3.如何运用词典扩大词汇量。关于辞典。词汇的学习离不开词典，如何选用她至关重要。我做一个Prediction，70%的人用的是牛津和朗文。但是你如果看一下英语专业的考试大纲的话，你会发现，COLLINSCOBUILD和WEBSTER’SCOLLEGEDICTIONARY才是最好的工具书。我用的就是后者。为什么要推荐这俩本呢？1、释义详细，简练；2、提高词汇在上下文的理解能力；3、后者还提供词源，方便理解与记忆。
4.词汇量大对阅读的帮助。阅读有三个层次：字面意义，行间意义，言外之意。试题考察的比例一般为2：2：1。字面意义不必多说，对于行间意义和言外之意的理解，需要高超的技巧，一般的阅读书上都有，在此我提一下篇章结构的作用。篇章结构对于解答行间意义和言外之意的提问特别有效。

Also, we told her we were going to do all the housework for our beloved mother, and she could take a rest for a day. In the beginning, we were excited about all the work we can do at home. Before long, we found that the housework seemed to be endless, There was cooking and washing, and cleaning to do, and there was shopping to do, too . During the dinner hour, the kitchen seemed so busy.
