用法
一、 及物动词
1、说，讲：
例句：What did you say？ 你方才说啥？
Say no more！ 甭说，我全懂了！
2、标明，声称，声明：
例句：Please say it clearly and simply.
请短小精悍地说清你的意思。
3、把…说切当，判定：
例句：It’s hard to say what is wrong.
很难说出了啥缺点。
4、断语，判定，建议：
例句：I say her plan is the better one.
我以为她的.方案是个好主意。
5、估摸着说，约莫，估量：
例句：I’d say he’ll come at 9 o’clock.
我估量他将在九点钟回来。
二、不及物动词
1、说话;宣告：
例句：He refused to say. 他回绝说出来。
2、表达观念：
例句：I’ll not want to say in front of the reporters. 我不肯在记者面前议论我的观念。
三、名词
1、 讲话权，讲话时机
例句：We shall all have a say in choosing the next president.
在挑选下一任总统方面，咱们都将有权表达意见。
The students wanted more say in the running of the university.
学生们想在大学办理方面享有更多的讲话权。
2、要说的话;所说的话
例句：Let him have his say. 让他把话说出来。
You’ve had your say, Diane. 你现已说够了，戴安娜。
