同学们，
Attention please, there will be an English speech contest held by city TV station on Oct 4th 36.According to the requirements, students in senior one and senior two can entry the contest. Different kinds of topics are welcome, but should be written by your own and each school is allowed to enter 5 names for the contest. Aftereach school is tried, our school is going to hold the tried on Sep 25th. Those will be good for your spoken English. Pls don't hesitate to enter your names. Thank you.
注意了，10月4日-6日，城市电视台将举行英语演讲比赛。根据要求，高一和高二的学生可以参加。大家可以选择任何题目，但是文章必须是自己写的，每所学校最多报五名学生。每所学校比赛之后，我们学校将在9月25日进行比赛。这项赛事将有助于提高英语口语。别忘了报上你的名字。谢谢。

Dear students,
The Student Union is going to organize a music week. It is in the first week of May. The activities include singing pop songs, playing classical and folk music, and a musical competition. If you want to play classical and folk music, please bring musical instruments with you. No instruments are supplied. In the musical competition you will be asked to listen to part of a song or a piece of music and then tell where it is from. If you are interested in the activities and want to take part in any of them, please come to the Student Union to sign up before April 20th. The place for the activities will be announced later.

Dear students,
Good news! The Student Union decides to hold a music week in the first week of May. The activities include singing pop songs, playing classical and folk music. If you play music, you yourself need to bring musical instruments. There is also a musical contest in the activities. In the contest the attenders will first listen to part of a song or a piece of music and then tell where it comes from. If you would like to take part in the activities,please come to the Student Union to sign up before April 20th. The place for the activities will be announced later.

【猜题理由】2010年高考写作题应该是学生较为熟悉的、身边的与他们生活、学习密切相关的话题。因为高考有一定的连续性，2010年有些省份仍可能采用应用文进行考查。
【构思点拨】本题属于提纲式要点作文，要求学生就所给内容写一张留言条，是学生比较熟悉的题材，体现了英语学习应该注意实用性，生活化的原则。应注意下面几点： (1)注意人称，应该用第一人称的形式给同学李明(第二人称)写便条：(2)注意时态的正确使用：从试题的内容上可以看出在表达要点上应用将来时;(3)注意恰当使用逻辑词语，是各个要点间逻辑连贯，行文通顺。提纲类书面表达不是简单的逐条翻译，而是将所给的几个要点合理的组成比较通顺的语句，因此要仔细组织语言，合理安排结构。在语言方面，要特别注意简洁明了，开门见山。

You can donate money or materials. If you would like to donate money, please put your money into the donation box at the entrance to Teaching Building. Two volunteer students are available there to offer help if necessary. If you would like to donate clothes, quilts or others, please bring them to our stand in front of the school gate.
你可以捐赠钱或材料。如果你愿意捐款，请把你的钱放进教学楼的捐款箱里。如有必要，可提供帮助，如有需要的志愿者。如果你想捐赠衣服，被子或其他人，请带他们到我们的立场在学校门口。
The Donation program will be held between 11:00 and 14:00, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
