一、教学目标:
1、知识目标:
1)能够学会并且掌握与食物有关或者订餐有关的单词和词组:mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, would like, I’d, special, size.
2) 能够通过课堂活动任务学习并掌握以下句型:
What kind of noodles would you like?
I’d like ....
What size would you like ?
I’d like a small/ medium/ large bowl.
2、技能目标
1)能够运用would like句型表达想要某物,并能模仿生活情景编排有关点菜,就餐等的对话。
2) 提高学生的听力能力。
3) 锻炼学生交流与合作的能力。
二、教学步骤
Step 1 : Warming up
Let students watch a video and answer my question : What kind of food can you see in the video?
Step 2 : Leading in
Show some pictures of food. Ask students some questions:
T: What’s your favorite food?
T: Do you know what’s my favorite food? Guess! My favorite food is noodles, so I have a noodles house. (创设情景, 展示带有我自己图片的Noodles House)
Step 3 : Presentation
1) Teach the new words:
T: In my noodles house, there are three specials. Let me introduce for you. (通过面馆的三个特色菜来学习新词汇)
2) Match the words with the food. (1a)
3) a. Teach the new sentence pattern :
T: There are a lot of food you can choose in my noodles house, What kind of food would you like?/ What would you like?
b. Guess game. Ask two students to make a conversation -- “What kind of food would you like?/ What would you like?” “I’d like ....”(点击PPT上的旋转指针,根据指针指向来回答问题)
4) Finish 1b(创设情景) :
T:Look! What time it is now? It’s 11: 30. Now someone is coming. Do you know what would he like? Listen to the tape and check the noodles that the person orders.
5) Finish 2a(创设情景) :
T: Maruko and her parents come to my noodles house. Look, there are all kinds of food here. Do you know what would they like? Listen and check the names of the foods you hear.
6) Finish 2b(创设情景):
a. Teach another new sentence pattern :
T: Guess! What size would Maruko like? What size would the father like? What size would the mother like?
b. At last, they only order two bowls of noodles. Do you know what size would they like? Listen again and complete the sentences.
7) Pair work. (黑板上贴有本节课学习的食物单词的图片并且画有三个碗:small, medium, large。模拟酒店点餐的情景,请学生上台展示对话。根据搭档的回答去完成一系列点餐活动。)
8) Emotional education.
Show two pictures of two different men. One is tall and strong, the other is short and fat.And show some pictures of healthy food and junk food.
T: What does he look like? What do you think of their diets? Whose diet is healthy ?
T: Eat more fruit and vegetables. Keep a healthy diet! Do more exercises every day.
9) Homework
a. Copy the words of Unit 10.
b. Preview the rest of Section A.
