Teaching Steps:
1、Greetings
Say hello to the kids and talk about the weather.
2、Warm up:
Teacher and children perform this song together.
Do some actions and have a competition. (Two groups)
3、New words : spring/summer/fall/winter
1) Teacher reviews words before ----- weather (PPT)
Teacher shows the new words one by one----- “spring/summer/fall/winter”.
Show a sunny day picture. Talk about different about “weather” and “season”.
2 )Pay attention to the pronunciation of[sp」[l」[r」
3) Practice these words “spring/summer” with game.
a. magic fingers b. shake your head c. hide the picture
4)Practice “fall/winter” by playing some games.(Eg: train game)
T:Let’s read together. When I touch your head ,please stand up and read loudly.
If you read well, you can get on my train. When I turn to a tiger, you will sit down as soon as quickly.
4、Practice all the words and check them with playing the game------Dance rug
Teacher puts these pictures on the blackboard, there are two dance rug on the floor.
Each group one child come to play this game. Ask another child to be the little teacher.
5、End the class.
