1. 英语26个字母中, Aa, Ee, Ii, Oo, Uu为元音字母;其余为辅音字母。字母Hh, Jj, Kk中都有A的名称音/ei/;字母Bb,Cc,Dd,Gg,Pp,Tt,Vv都含有E的名称音/ｉ:/;字母Ff, Ll, Mm, Nn, Ss, Xx, Zz都含有/e/音。
2. 英语中用汉语拼音表示的中国人名、地名不用汉语声调号。地名合写成一个单词，首字母大写，如Hainan(海南)，Heilongjiang(黑龙江)等，人名要把姓和名分开写，如：Zhang Yuhong(张玉红)， Zhuge Liang（诸葛亮）等。
3. 当class, grade, row, number等名词与数词连用时，这些名词和数词的第一个字母通常大写。如：Class Four (四班)，Row Eight (第八排), Number Twelve (十二号)等。
4. 用英语表达地址,一般按从小到大的顺序,与汉语正相反,如:广东省广州市淘金路25号A1205, 就要译成: A1205, No. 25 Taojin Road Guangzhou City Guangdong Province。
5. this (these) 指代近处的人（物），that (those )指代远处的人（物），指物时疑问句的答语中多用it (they)代替。如：
-Is that a map? 那是一张地图吗？
-Yes, it is. 是的，它是。
另外， it可以用来指"人"，在不知是谁或指照片中的"人"或婴儿时使用。如：
-Who is it? 是谁呀？
-It's me, Li Lei. 是我， 李雷。
6． 课堂用语
What row / class / grade are you / they in? 你们（他们）在哪一组（班、年级）？
We're / They're in Row / Class / Grade One. 我们（他们）在第一组（一班、一年级）。
Are we all here? / Is everyone here? 每个人都到了吗？
Excuse me, where is Class Three? 打扰一下，请问三班在哪儿？
Who's on duty today? 今天谁值日？
7． 电话用语
Who's that? 你是谁？（问对方是哪一位时，不说"Who are you?"）
Is that ...？你是......？（打电话时习惯用this 指代自我，that 指代对方）
Hello, this is ... / Hello, 5665712. / Hello！(This is) English Coaching Paper Office.你好，我是....../ 你好，这里是5665712。 / 你好，这里是英语辅导报社。
Sorry, he's not at home. / Sorry, he's not in. 对不起，他不在家。
8. 询问物品用语
What's this in English? 这个用英语怎么说?
Is that a Japanese car? 那是辆日本小汽车吗?
9. 询问年龄、地点、位置用语
-How old are you? / What's your age? 你多大了?
-I'm ten. 我10岁。
-Excuse me. Where's the washroom? 打扰一下，请问洗手间在哪?
-It's over there. 在那边。
