[一号档案] 颜色词作表语时，可以用what colour来提问。例如：
Her bag is yellow.→
What colour is her bag?
His shoes are black.→
What colour are his shoes?
[二号档案] 表示颜色的词用在介词短语中，该短语表示地点时，对其提问时应选用疑问词where。例如：
Mr Green is in the black car.→
Where is Mr Green?
[三号档案] 当表示颜色的词用在介词短语中修饰名词或代词，对该介词短语提问时，用疑问词which,同时将前面的名词或代词放在which之后。例如：
The woman in a purple skirt is Tom's mother.→
Which woman is Tom's mother?
The boy on the red bike is Bill.→
Which boy is Bill?
[四号档案]表示颜色的词作定语，用在名词或代词前作名词或代词的修饰语，那么，对该颜色词提问时应用which,同时将名词或代词放在which之后，去掉名词前的冠词。例如：
The white shirt is Bill's.→
Which shirt is Bill's?
The green one is Lucy's.→
Which one is Lucy's?
[五号档案]当表示颜色的词作定语，修饰名词或代词，对这一整体提问时用what。例如：
This is a blue coat.→
What's this?
There are some grey kites in the sky.→
What's in the sky?
