blow
(1) 作动词用时，表示"吹；刮"，"呼；吐（气）等"。如：
It is blowing hard outside. 外面的大风猛烈地刮着。
He is not blowing hard enough. 他吹得劲儿不够。
愿你多知：blow hot and cold(about sth.) 优柔寡断。如：
She blows hot and cold about the answer. 她对这个答案模棱两可。
相关短语：blow over 安然过去，平息。如：
The storm blew over in the night. 风暴在夜里停止了。
blow sb. up 训斥某人。如：

(2)作名词用时，也有"吹"的意思，go for/have a blow 到空气新鲜的地方散散步。
