【基础知识精讲】

1.Welcome back to school!欢迎返校!

Welcome:

(1)作感叹词,可独立使用如: Welcome!欢迎!

也可与 to连用。如:Welcome to Beijing!欢迎来北京!

中间为back,表返回,如:Welcome back to China, Hong Kong!

香港,欢迎回归祖国!

(2)作adj.,如:You’re welcome.不用谢。

2.This is our first lesson.这是我们的第一课。

first:

(1)用法:序数词,表顺序,其前一般要定冠词the,但如果前面有物主代词my,your等修饰,则不用“the”,试比较

the first lesson(√),our first lesson(√)

the our first lesson(×), our the first lesson(×)

(2)序数词拼写规律:

第一至第三有较大变化,分别变为: first, second,third,从第四起,以后基本以th.结尾,如 fourth, fifth, sixth……hundredth……

3.Please say “here” when I can your name 当我点你的名字时,请说“到”。

call one’s name叫某人的名字(点名)

4.This is our first lesson, so I don’t know all your names.

这是我们的第一节课,所以我不知道你们大家的名字。

so:连词,表结果,可将两个简单句合并成一个并列句。

5.I’m sorry I’m late,because the traffic is bad.

对不起,我迟到了,因为交通太遭。

because:连词,表原因,引导一个原因状语从句。如:

I know its name because I love all kinds of flowers.

我知道它的名字因为我喜欢各种花。

6.be different from与…不同,如:

English words are very different from Chinese words.

英文单词和汉字很不相同。

7.本单元出现表示“许多”的词,列举有:

a lot of(lots of) 后接可数名词和不可数名词

许多 much 后接不可数名词

many 后接可数名词的复数形式

books 许多书

例: a lot of (lots of)

water 许多水

much money 许多钱

many students 许多学生

8.Philip tells them “ph” sounds like an “f”.飞利浦告诉他们“ph”的发音像”f” 一样。

字母”f”的音标为︱ef︱,所以应说an “f”,象这样以元音音标开头的辅音字母还有:x,l,s,m,n,h,r.但元音字母“u”的读音为︱ju:︱,所以只能说a “u”’, 不能说an “u”.

例:There is an “h”, a “u” and an “r” in the word “hour”.

【重点难点解析】

1.We’re going to have fun learning and speaking English this term.

本学期我们会很高兴学习和说英语。

have fun doing sth.有兴趣做某事,有些形容词后可接 v-ing形式或不定式。例:

① We’re going to have fun joining and English party this weekend.

这个周末我们将很高兴参加英语聚会。

② I’m glad to see you.见到你很高兴。

③ Nice meeting you.见到你很高兴,也可说 Nice to meet you.

2.Happy Teachers’ Day.教师节快乐!

Teachers’ day.此处指全体教师的节日,所以一定要用复数。

Teachers’不能写成 teacher’s或 teachers’s.

3.Thank you for making English fun!谢谢你把英语教得太棒了!

thank sb. for(doing) sth.为(做了)某事而感谢某人。

有很多像这样的由动词+介词构成的词组,其介词后接动词作其宾语,往往要加ing如:

① Thank you for your help谢谢你的帮助。(此处 help为名词)

② Thank you for helping me谢谢你帮我。(此处 help为动词)

③ I often help my mother with cleaning the house.我常帮妈妈打扫房子。

4.本单元出现一些频度副词,列举如下:

always→usually→often→sometimes→never

总是→通常→常常→有时→从不

(1)都是频度副词,表示事件发生的频率,依上述次序递减;

(2)它们的位置通常在主谓之间,有时也可放在句首;

(3)常用于一般现在时。

例:①I always forget things我总是忘事。

②Sometimes it snows heavily.有时下大雪。

5.Mr. wu wants me to give a talk in class tomorrow.

吴老师想让我明天在班上作个演讲。

Want sb. to do sth.想要某人做某事,want后接不定式

例: They want to go to school.他们想上学。

6.Can you help to clean the house?你能帮着打扫房子吗?

help to do sth.帮着做某事(help后常接不定式)

help sb.do sth.帮某人做某事(help的后面有宾语,常接省to不定式)

例:①Tom,can you help to clean the house?

汤姆,你能帮着打扫房子吗?

②Can you help Philip find a Chinese name?

你能帮飞利浦找个中文名字吗?

7.一般现在时:表示经常发生的情况或存在的状况,动词常用原形,如果主语是第三人称单数,动词则应用第三人称单数形式(V-S)

例:①They often ask him where he is from.

②He wants to have a Chinese name.

(1)疑问形式:常借do或does提问,如用does,动词还需还原。

例:①Why do people call me Jim?

②Does he want to have a Chinese name?

(2)否定形式,do→don’t, does→doesn’t

例:① You don’t have much money.

② He doesn’t want to spell it any more.

练习册P75第7题

此题考查学生的阅读理解能力和看图能力,Philip Crow喜欢踢足球,而图 2即为一男孩拿着足球,故图 2的空 1为 Philip Crow,他的朋友称他为 Wei Yangping,故空 2应为 Wei YangPing.

同样可以找出,图 1的空应为 Han Mei, Liz,图 3的空为 Lin Tao,Paul.图 4的空应为Sandy, Sun Ximei.注意 email sb.给sb.发电子邮件的用法。

(3) 现在进行时常用的时间状语有now ,these ,days等表示某一动作正进行也可通过上下文来体现,常见的有Look, listen等.

如:Look!The students are's playing football on the playground.

看!学生们正在操场上踢足球。
