学习一般过去时:一般过去时表示___发生的动作(包括___性动作)、情况或存在的___一般过去时的谓语动词为was/were 或其他动词的过去式。一般过去时的否定形式:主语+___+动词原形+其他或主语+___/___ + 其他.

对比总结一般过去式的用法

一、一般过去时含义与基本结构

(一)含义:在过去某一时间或某一段时间发生的动作或存在的状态,要用一般过去式,它主要体现在句中的谓语动词上,谓语动词用过去式表示。

(二)一般过去式常用时间是:

  yesterdav (昨天),yesterday afternoon(昨天下午),last week(上同),

  last month(上月),last year(去年),last vacation(上个假期);

  in 1997(在1997),in February,2001,on May 2,2004(在2004年5月2日);

  a few minutes ago(几分钟以前),an hour ago(一个小时以前),a few days ago(几天以前),a week ago(一周以前),a few months ago(几月以前)等。

(三)结构:

(1)过去式be动词类:

  A:陈述句:主语+谓语动词(was/were)+表语。

  Thev were in the classroom a moment ago.(他们刚才在教室里。)

  B:一般疑问句:将be的过去式was/were提到主语前,句尾加问号。

  Were they in the classroom a moment ago?

  (回答用Yes,__________或No________,)

  特殊问句:特殊疑问词+一般疑问句+?(回答用句子。)

  C:否定句:在be的过去式was/were后加not,可缩写成wasn’t/weren’t即可。

  They weren’t in the classroom a moment ago.

(2)过去式行为动词类:

  A:陈述句:主语+谓语动词(规则动词v-ed或不规则动词)+宾语+状语。

  They sang songs in the classroom a moment ago.(他们刚才在教室里唱歌。)

B:一般问句:在陈述句前加did,将句中谓语动词的过去式变成原形,句尾加问号。

Did they sing in the classroom a moment ago?(回答用Yes,______,或,No,_______,)

特殊问句:特殊疑问词+一般疑问句+?(回答用句子。)

C:否定句:在陈述句主语和谓语动词之闻加助词did not,可缩写成didn’t。They didn’t sing in the classroom a moment ago.

(四)规则动词变过去式方法:

  (1)一般动词加-ed,例如:work--worked

  (2)以辅音字母加y结尾的动词变y为i再加ed,例如:stud--studied

  (3)以一个字母加一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节,要双写辅音字母,再加-ed,例如:stop--stopped

  

  (五)不规则动词见课本后面不规则动词表格。(ABA AAA ABC)

  

  二、常用一般过去时态的几种情况

 (一)先看句子中是否有表示过去的时间状语。在以下的几种情况下,要用一般过去时:

  1、句子中有“介词+表示过去时间的名词。构成的短语,如in 1949,on March fifth等时。例口。Tom was born in 1990,汤姆出生于1990年。

  2、句子中有表示时间的副词yesterday,或由yesterday构成的短语,如 yesterday morning,after-noon/evening, the day before yesterday等。例如:He went to Beijing with his parents yesterday.他昨天和他的父母一起去北京了。

  3、句子中有”时间段+ago"构成的短语,如five days ago,two years ago等时。例如:

  My father came to the school three years ago.我父亲三年前来到了这所学校。

  4、句子中有”last+我表示时间的名词”构成的短语,如last year,last month等时。例如:

  We visited the Great Wall last Sunday.上个星期天我们参观了长城。

  5、句子中有其它表示过去的词语或短语,如once(曾经),then(那时),just now(刚才)等时。例如:

  Your friend once telephoned to say goodbye t0 you.你的明友曾打电话向告别。

  l went to your home just now.我刚去过你家。

6、 He doesn’t want to do anything. 他什么也不想做anything不定代词,形容词修饰时要后置

eg :Is there anything new in the magazine?

7、 Then it was time to go home. 后来改回家了

It was tine to do sth “该做某事了”,句中it 为形式主语,句子真正的主语是后面的动词不定式短语,同义结构为:It’ s time for sth

eg: It’ time to go to bed .  / It’ s time for bed.

注意:It’ s time for sb to do sth ,对某人来说给做某事了
