Step1:Warming up

1. Divide the class into 4 groups and introduce the rules of competition.

Rules: 小组进行比赛,在黑板上设置阶梯,每组学生有进行回答上一个阶梯,最先到达顶上的小组获胜。

设计意图:首先进行了全班分组,这样子可以让学生有一定的竞争意识。

2. Enjoy the flash

T:Let’s sing the song: My Favorite Day

设计意图:本课前2分钟,我为学生准备了一首英语歌曲“My Favorite Day”,这首歌简洁易学,既能引起学生极大的兴趣;又便于学生复习前面所学的部分词汇;既活跃了气氛,也为整个课堂教学的师生互动奠定了基础。

3. Free-talk

Present the following questions and the students compete to answer them, the teachers will score for them.

T: What’s your favorite day?

S1:

T: I like Monday because I can see you on that day. I like school life very much. Do you like your school life?

Ss:

T:How’s your school life?

Ss: Interesting/ wonderful/colorful

T: What subjects do you learn in the school?

Ss:

T: Which subject do you like best? Why?(ask more students about this question)

设计意图:本课的导入内容,问题比较容易回答,既可以让学生快速进入英语课的氛围,复习前面所学的内容,也可以过渡到本课要学习的内容。通过自由的问答,可以让学生进行口语练习。

Step2 Pre-reading

1. T: We have many activities at school. Look at the picture, he is learning English. We can say he is studying English. “Study” means “learn”. Read “ study” after me .Who can make a sentence according to the picture.(板书study)

2. T: Next picture is “play basketball”. Now look at the sentence, Playing basketball is my favorite outdoor activity. Outdoor activity means “户外活动”.Please read after me.(板书outdoor activity)

3. Learn the other three pictures by making sentences.

设计意图:根据图画学习单词词组,较为直观。又在句子中学习新词组,让学生懂得用灵活用。

Step3 While- reading

1. Skimming

T: Let’s open the book to page 21. This passage is about Hu Bin’s school life. Do you want to know about it? Let’s read the passage. But we will read it with the skill of skimming. It means we will read the passage quickly. While reading, we need to find the key words of each paragraph.

设计意图:让学生快速阅读找出本文的段落的中心词。学生可以联系根据主题句找出来。这样做有利于对文章的理解,把握文章的脉络,提高对文章的理解。学生也可以通过文章主题句把握文章的主旨大意。

2. Scanning

T: Read the following sentences and circle True or False. In this period, we will use the skill of scanning. When we want to find the certain information, we can use it. We can read through the passage and find out the sentences of questions.(After reading, students will check the answers. When the answer is false, the teacher will ask students to correct it)

1. Hu Bin likes his school life a lot. True False

2. Hu Bin likes math best. True False

3. Hu Bin has six classes every weekday. True False

4. Swimming is his favorite outdoor activity. True False

设计意图:让学生边读边找出本文的细节,使学生懂得问题应回归文章中寻找答案,对错误进行改正,加深对文章的理解。。

3. Comprehension

Ask students to pay attention to the tense in this passage, then read 1a again and fill in the blanks. Pay attention to the change of the verbs. After 3 minutes, the students will read the answers together. Review the rules of the present simple tense.

一般现在时:经常习惯动作和真理,是一般现在时,构成除三单皆动原式,若主三单,动变三单式。

设计意图:此部分旨在培养学生的理解归纳能力。在前面两次阅读之后,对文章再进行一次阅读,对文章进行填空,让学生注意动词时态,可以让学生明确文章的时态以及复习一般现在时。

4. Language points

Write language points on the blackboard and learn them together.

1. At school, my teachers and classmates are very kind to me.

对某人友好:be kind to sb = ____________________________

2. I study Chinese, English, politics, art, history, geography, biology and some other subjects.

other 是形容词,意为“___________”,表示泛指,常与复数名词或者不可数名词连用

设计意图:对语言点进行学习,让学生能正确运用这些知识点。

Step4 Post-reading

1. Listening (此环节进行两次听力,第一次主要是认真听,注意单词读音,句子的停顿与语调,第二遍进行跟读模仿)

设计意图:边听边跟读文章,训练学生的听力和对语音语调的模仿能力。

2. Speaking

Present the key words of the passage and retell the passage in pairs.(小组复述时,一人先进行复述,另一人进行补充,后叫2个学生上台进行复述)

设计意图:通过小组练习复述,可以加深对文章的掌握,在小组中进行复述,可以培养学生的互助意识,再挑选学生课堂上进行复述,可以引起学生的积极性,提高说的意识。

3. Writing Task

1) The students will finish the mind map together. Then they will write a passage with the help of it.

T: After learning this passage, do you know how to describe the school life? Let’s finish this mind map together according to the content we have learnt.(教师引导学生一起完成思维导图)

T: Now we will write a letter to Hu Bin to tell him about our school life. Please write it with the help of the mind map.(当堂完成作文)

2) After finishing the passage. The students will check their own composition and correct the errors.

设计意图:学生在课堂上当堂完成作文,可以提高作文的质量。利用思维导图对文章结构进一步进行分析,有利于学生的作文结构。作文完成之后利用2分钟时间进行自我修改,可以让学生学会检查错误。
