　　一般情况下，美国雇主每2周支付薪酬，学生收到第一份薪酬可能要在到达美国3~4周以后，取决于学生开始工作和获取Social Security Card(社会安全卡)的时间。所以，我们建议学生至少携带额外1000美金以支付一开始的住房等日常费用。实践时间根据中国高校的一般暑假时间，学生实习时间一般是10周，从6月中下旬开始至9月中旬。
